Commerce Gate · Client setup

Install Commerce Gate in your AI client.

Choose your client, follow its steps, then verify the connection. Commerce Gate checks the actions your agent proposes and returns policy evidence; it never writes to a marketplace or ERP.

Set up Accio Work

Use Accio Work’s custom local MCP form to start the public Commerce Gate runtime.

Before you start

  • Accio Work with the custom MCP settings available to your account.
  • A local runtime with Node.js 20 or later and npm.

Follow the manual setup below. This client does not have a downloadable Commerce Gate plugin here.

Install and connect

  1. Open Settings → MCP → + Add → Add Custom MCP Server.
  2. Choose Stdio (Local), name the server Commerce Gate and enter the command shown below.
  3. Add MCP_TRANSPORT=stdio, AGENTOPS_AUTO_PROVISION=0 and COMMERCEGATE_AGENT_RUNS=0 in Environment Variables, one KEY=VALUE entry per line.
  4. Save and enable the server, then ask for commercegate_describe_capabilities.

Local server command

npx -y @decionis/commerce@0.2.0

Keep API keys out of commands and shared configuration.

Connection and availability

Credential-free STDIO registration and eight-tool discovery were verified on 2026-10-15. Authenticated operations, credential storage and plan-wide availability remain unverified.

Start with capability discovery. Private credential storage in Accio’s form has not been verified, so do not paste API keys into commands or shared configuration.

HTTP and SSE options are separate. No compatible hosted Commerce Gate endpoint is supplied by this installer.
