What Commerce Gate can stop on each platform, and what it only checks.

What Commerce Gate covers depends on the platform and the action. This table shows what each platform stops on its own, what a person confirms, what is only checked and what has no path yet. Through the MCP, your agent can check seven kinds of commerce action in Shadow Mode. Each column also says who sends the final action and what evidence you get.

If Commerce Gate is unavailable	Order acknowledgments go through. Refunds up to a set fallback limit go ahead; larger ones wait.	By default a checkout rule stops a sale it cannot check; you can let any rule through.	Checkout goes through and the gap is recorded.	One company-wide choice: release and posting continue or stop. They continue unless you change it.	An agent that gets no answer must wait; it never routes around the check.

Shadow Mode is free with no time limit where offered. The listed checks come with signed Decision Dossiers; some outage fallbacks and operator-confirmed actions are recorded without one. How to review decision evidence.

How integration status is verified

Walmart Marketplace

Version and status: Managed connector; deployed version not publicly reported. Production; available actions depend on your seller permissions and the controls you turn on.
Who sends the action?: Commerce Gate's connector sends acknowledgments, and the ship, cancel and refund requests your operator confirms, to Walmart. Your repricer or ERP sends price and stock changes.
What evidence is available?: Policy checks and supported refund checks come with Decision Dossiers. Ship and cancel are logged without a dossier, and outage fallbacks can have limited evidence.

Shopify

Version and status: Managed app; deployed version not publicly reported. Production; on the Shopify App Store as Decionis Checkout Gate.
Who sends the action?: Shopify Functions apply checkout, eligible discount and payment-method controls. The separate post-order inventory Flow action records a decision and never changes the order.
What evidence is available?: Decision records are available for recorded checks. A native Function result is not, by itself, a signed Decision Dossier; inspect the evidence available for the specific check.

Adobe Commerce

Version and status: Managed connector; deployed version not publicly reported. Production; checkout and advisory promotion checks are listed separately.
Who sends the action?: Your Adobe storefront applies the checkout validation response. Promotion findings and the 90-day order look-back are read-only.
What evidence is available?: Recorded policy checks come with decision evidence. An outage is recorded as a gap, not as a check that passed.

Adobe checkout validation and permissions

Business Central

Version and status: Source package 1.0.2.5; Beta, certification pending. Signing, clean-sandbox validation and Marketplace preview remain release gates.
Who sends the action?: The installed Business Central extension checks release and posting. The separate Dynamics 365 MCP guard checks a transaction without writing to your ERP.
What evidence is available?: The allow or block answer and its reason are your evidence. A retrievable dossier is not promised for every ERP call, so confirm the record before relying on it.

Commerce Gate MCP

Version and status: Published npm package 0.2.0; release verified 2026-10-15. 8 published tools. Checks that are not in this release are described separately.
Who sends the action?: Your connected platform or authorized tool sends the final action. The published MCP checks and reads evidence, and never writes to a marketplace or ERP.
What evidence is available?: A commerce check may return a dossier reference. The dossier and proof-packet tools read records your workspace can access, and missing evidence stays marked as missing.

What changes in Enforcement Mode?

Each control you turn on can hold or block the action listed for that platform, and nothing more: enforcement adds no actions and no marketplace permissions. Walmart price and stock checks stay answers your tools act on, the Shopify stock check stays a record, and the MCP's commerce checks stay in Shadow Mode.

Does Commerce Gate execute actions?

Only through the controls you turn on: it can withhold a Walmart acknowledgment, apply Shopify checkout rules, or check Business Central release and posting. On Walmart, ship, cancel and refund wait for your operator to confirm. Your repricer or ERP sends price and stock changes. The MCP checks and reads evidence and never writes to a marketplace or ERP. Approving a policy is not consent to act.

What evidence does a decision provide?

Where your platform records a Decision Dossier, it explains the decision and links to signed evidence, and a proof packet helps you review it. Some observations, outage fallbacks and operator-confirmed actions have no dossier. A record that a check ran does not prove the price changed, the order shipped or the refund completed.
