# Decionis Commerce Gate

> Commerce Gate stops the oversell, the below-cost price and the runaway refund before it reaches Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, Adobe Commerce or Dynamics 365 Business Central. It is an operations control plane: your ERP, repricer, checkout or AI agent tells it the order, price change, stock change, promotion, refund or return it is about to make, and Commerce Gate answers PROCEED, HOLD or ESCALATE with a signed Decision Dossier. What each platform enforces on its own, and what it can only answer, is stated on that platform's page. The CommerceGate MCP lets an AI agent ask the same question for all seven kinds of action in Shadow Mode, authorize a Dynamics 365 transaction with an enforced ALLOW or BLOCK, and read the evidence. It never writes to a marketplace or ERP.

## Operator outcomes

- PROCEED (API: APPROVE): The action is inside the published policy. Your tool may go ahead. This is a policy result, not user consent and not an execution token.
- HOLD (API: REVIEW): Stop. Leave the marketplace as it is and put the action in front of an operator.
- ESCALATE (API: ESCALATE): Stop. A named approver with the right authority must decide before the action is re-evaluated. The CommerceGate MCP reports this as HOLD.
- BLOCK (API: REJECT): Stop. The action is outside policy and is not retried.
- SHADOW: Watch-only. Decisions are recorded with a signed dossier and nothing executes. Walmart, Adobe Commerce and the MCP start here; Shopify rules are off until you turn them on.
